How To Solve Our Nail Problems
Are your nails too soft, too dry, fragile, or cracked? It must not be tolerated. Below you will find advice on ways of helping your nails in such instances.
Nearly 80 percent of women are not satisfied with their nails. And the problem is not that their nails are poorly cared for, but rather the method of caring for them may be incorrect. If, in addition, you often have to use domestic cleansers, if your diet is not balanced or if you’ve had to take antibiotics for a long time, it is most probable that you won’t be satisfied with your nails. You can still do something to improve you nails’ state.
The most common problems are:
· Broken Nails: If the nail is filed too low at its sides, it quickly cracks in this place.
What can be done? You can cut this nail or try to save it by repairs. You should file your nails trying to follow the shape of your fingertips, and the slant at the sides should be as little as possible.
· Dry, Cracked Nails: Just like our skin and hair, our nails need a certain amount of fat to preserve their elasticity. If they lack fat – for instance, as a result of some disease – they can be easily broken.
What can be done? You can use acetone-free nail polish remover. Every day you should rub some cream or some nail oil like Tee Tree Oil into them to improve their elasticity. If possible you can use the hand cream which at the same time supplies your nails with active substances.
· Peeling Nails: If you cut your nails with scissors or use a blunt nail-file, they can be easily split.
What can be done? You should never cut your nails completely. Always file them. A thin emery or sapphire file enables very gentle treatment of your nails.
· Very Soft or Thin Nails: Thin, weak nails can be easily broken even by washing.
What can be done? Sufficient supply of vitamins and minerals will make your nails stronger. Also, you can use nail strengthening polish which will create a sort of protective armor for your nails.
· Thick Stiff Nails: If there is too much calcium or silicon in your nails’ keratin, your nails become inelastic.
What can be done? You should buff and polish your nails with a thin file. Apply essential oils like Tea Tree oils diluted in avocado or almond oil, and rub the nails gently for a few minutes. Repeat this once or twice a week and you will notice that they are shiny and pink.
· Hangnails: Many people have a habit of fidgeting and playing with their fingers. Some people tear away the skin around their nails when they feel nervous. The result is over dried or incorrectly shifted skin which looks quite unattractive.
What can be done? The skin pieces should be removed by tweezers for skin. Every day you should rub some oil or cream in, especially after washing your hands.
· Very Thick Nail Skin: If it is not shifted and cut too low, the skin begins to grow too thick and forms a thick shiny roll.
What can be done? You can cautiously grind this roll off every time during the manicure. You should rub some essential oils like those mentioned above as often as possible, and every time after washing your hands you should slightly shift the nail skin using a towel.
