Raising Your Work Capacity

long-term exhaustion. A rest together with auto-training is also effective.

Let's remind you of the usual recommendations on overcoming exhaustion:

  • productive leisure, physical culture, sport;
  • hydrotherapeutic procedures, baths, massages;
  • nature;
  • art;
  • good nutrition.

The easiest means (in words, not in practice) is taking a time-out,

having a rest, cutting off all superfluous distractions, ordering one’s

way of life. A positive emotional state plays a big role in the restoration

of forces. Long ago it was noticed that the wounds of winners heal up

more quickly than those of losers.

How to restore forces without stopping work?

A big Mercedes smoothly moved down to a roadside, almost in bushes.

The driver wearily approached a high tree, raised his hands and... struck

several blows, almost touching the bark. It was rest of the driver appreciating

productive leisure.

Microbreaks, short rests, productive leisure, short-term physical exercises

are natura brothers in school breaks. They are of great help in keeping

up work capacity (especially, if the exhaustion has only just begun).

Therefore, in order to prevent exhaustion, it is good to do some physical

exercises in advance: to rub one’s ears, nose, and nape, to massage

one’s face and neck. You can also wash your face with cold water.

After such a shake-up, work capacity will rise again, at least for half

an hour. It would be better if you could afford a short dream or a session

of auto-training. That will thoroughly restore work capacity in 15-20

minutes.

At table, you can strain and relax the muscles of back, legs and hands.

On the weekend, you can practice sports (volleyball, badminton, tennis,

skiing, jogging, swimming). Only productive leisure will revive ‘dead’

forces and feelings.
