«Deep-set eyes» can be increased and made

more expressive. Avoid dark shadows. In this case, the best choice will

be light, including shining shadows. Apply light shadows on the whole

eyelid up to the eyebrows toward the internal angle of the eye. The

shape of the eyes can be emphasized only at the external eye angle.

«Close-set eyes» - in classical beauty

canons, the distance between the eyes should be equal to the length

of one eye. The external eye angle should be either at the level of

the internal eye angle, or a little bit higher. Remember this when drawing

the arrows.

Shadow should be applied on the upper eyelid, beginning from the middle

and slightly spreading in an upward direction and at the external eye

angle. And on the bridge of the nose and at the internal eye angle,

you should apply very light shades. The shape of the eyes is shaded

by a little darker shadows, starting from the middle of the eyelid in

the direction outside. Avoid putting arrows on the whole eyelid surface.

It is better to do only half, i.e., going from the center to the external

eye edge. Space under the eyebrows should be cleared. The distance between

the eyebrows should be wide enough.

«Wide-set eyes» – Dark shades are

applied at the internal part of the eye by spreading them upwards up

to the eyebrows. You should shade the eye shape wider to the nose bridge

and then to the external eye angle. You should draw the eyebrows accurately

as close to the nose bridge as possible.
