Laziness: No Friend of Beautiful Abs
You can work out your abs any time of the day, in any place. The only thing that can get in your way is your own laziness. So how do you make yourself exercise your abs that are hiding under your clothes and, perhaps, fat?
Only strong will can help! The question is where to find that will and how to use it. Usually the question stays unanswered because everyone around you is looking for the answer as well.
Try to find the answer within yourself. It is much harder in domestic conditions because the usual list of excuses like such as “got in the traffic jam” or “had a corporate party” is short.
There are different ways that you can motivate yourself. Favorite clothes that leave the belly uncovered are the most effective ways. If after standing in front of a mirror you are not happy with what you see, immediately get on an exercising program.
Initial position: lying on your back, legs bent at the knees, with arms extended straight and in front of your face (Photo 1).

Slowly lift the back from the floor (Photo 3).

Arms should be kept straight. They should stretch forward thus helping the body lift itself up. You have to assume a completely vertical position; you can even touch your knees with your chest. As soon as you have assumed a vertical position start the reverse motion. When going down, place your back on the floor slowly, vertebrae after vertebrae, until you finally reassume the initial position. Don’t stop. Your legs should be relaxed.
Try to avoid these mistakes:
- a straight back
- unfinished vertical position

These mistakes will decrease the overall effectiveness of the exercise and should be avoided because without the visible affect the exercise has on your abs it will be much harder to make yourself exercise next time.
