A Description of Hair-Removal Methods.
During ?lectro epilation, the electrode is placed through a special needle and is attached to the hair follicle; the electric current kills it. The method is good for epilation of small areas of skin, but the overall process can take you from several months to several years. But, despite of all the drawbacks, the method is very widely used.
There is no doubt that this method allows the removal of undesirable hair. And this does accomplish what other light methods can’t fulfill. Truly speaking, however, it does not suit the areas of the bikini and underarm.
The Light Way
Light epilating is conditionally subdivided into laser and photo epilation. These two methods differ only in the length of the light impulse. As known, light has the property of being devoured by the dark pigment of the hair, causing its heating. It is reflected from light surfaces, in this case from the skin (if it is fair).
This very property was put to use in light epilation. Receiving a determined dose of the light energy, hair is heated up and the heat is transferred to the root. But, unfortunately, a hair is a bad conductor of heat. Therefore experts advise to use light epilating for women with dark hair and very light skin. There should also be very few moles and freckles on the skin as they can become influenced by the laser.
Before the procedure, the hair is shaved off and the cooling gel is put on the skin so that the skin does not receive a burn. One flare covers a skin area of approximately 20 mm2. Therefore, for one procedure, it is possible to process a large area such as the legs.
But for the complete removal of the hair, a number of sessions are needed. The method suits sensitive zones of the bikini line and underarms. One shouldn’t do laser epilating with the presence of skin diseases or with increased photo sensibility after sunburn. The flood of light of the impulse lamp at photoepiletion deletes only the hair that are in the phase of growth. For this reason, the procedure needs to be repeated several times with an interval with 1-2 months. Photo epilating allows to eradicate emboly hair.
One should not do photoepilation if allergic to solar beams or after sunburns. It is also unsafe for pregnant women.
Chemistry and life
Enzymic epilation is a time-consuming process, and that is probably why it has not received wide usage. The essence of the method is that the hair follicle is destroyed with the help of preparations containing enzymes (papainase, tripsin, and chemotripsin). To maximize their work, the procedure is supplemented by the action of infra-red heat.
At the end of the procedure, resort to waxen depilation -- after it the skin becomes smooth. Since enzymes influence the hair bulb less aggressively than an electrical current, the process is long but pain-free.

The creams for depilation delete only the core of a hair. Unfortunately, growing hairs will be more rigid than before.

Despite of all novelties, electroepilation remains the most reliable and safe method. Modern methods of influence by an electrical current on the hair include electrolysis, thermolysis, flash, blend, and sequential.
In practice, the term ”flash” is used for the designation of epilation by thermolysis with a very short time of impulse, from 1/100th to about 1/10th of a second. At such a short pulse the client simply doesn’t have time to feel any pain.
In one procedure it is possible to depilate a large area of the skin. Flash epilating is used for removal of the hair on a person’s face, including thin lanugo hairs, where other methods are powerless.
Blend (in translation from English "mix") in epilating is a mix of constant galvanic current, which causes chemical influence on the hair follicle, and a high-quality variable, causing thermolysis. As a matter of fact, it is a chemical micro burn strengthened by heating.
In modern devices galvanic high-frequency currents can work simultaneously with this blend, or it is consecutive – sequential (consecutive). It is a more painful method than thermolysis, but it is good for removal of the hair with a non-straight hair channel. In other cases its application is not absolutely justified.
It is necessary to note that the comfort of the procedure depends on the equipment, and the quality depends on the qualification of the expert. So search for your expert!
